EYE ON CLALLAM: Sequim considers land use permit procedure changes

The Sequim City Council will consider adopting a hearing examiner procedure for A1 and A2 land use permit appeals when it meets in regular session at 6 p.m. Monday.

The council will hear of police reform legislation and its impacts at a 5 p.m. workshop.

The council also will consider adopting code amendments regrading determination of completeness for land use project permits and to add a new chapter on post-decision review procedures.

It also will conduct public hearings on the capital improvement program and the Six-Year Transportation Program before considering adoption of the two plans and a comprehensive plan docket.

County commissioners

The agendas for the Monday and Tuesday meetings of the Clallam County commissioners were unavailable Saturday due to an Internet outage.

The agenda will be published Monday after they become available.

Port of Port Angeles

Port of Port Angeles commissioners will consider a Marine Spill Response Corporation berthage agreement and parking and storage lease when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Forks city

The Forks City Council will discuss a water system late-comer’s agreement when it meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Participants can attend in-person at 500 Division St., or online. Listening and webcast options will be posted on the city’s website at www.forkswashington.org.

Council members also will discuss the Shoreline Master Program adoption status and the 2022-2017 capital improvement plan.

Sequim schools

The Sequim School Board will conduct a policy update and review form 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.

It will be in the board room at 503 N. Sequim Ave., or virtually.

Clallam Conservation District commissioners will consider approving Conservation Commission grant addendums for the upcoming fiscal year during a special meeting Monday.
