Several Clallam County boards, commissions and councils do not meet this week in observance of the Christmas holiday. Some have scheduled meetings in January 2018.
Forks City Council
The Forks City Council will consider an Opportunity Fund Board appointment Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Forks City Hall, 500 E. Division St.
Other agenda items include the oath of office for newly-elected council members Joe Soha and Tim Fletcher.
Library system
The North Olympic Library System Board of Trustees will review and approve of its 2018 capital budget Thursday.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
The board will also hold an executive session to discuss collective bargaining and to complete the director’s performance review.
Action may be taken following the executive session.

Clallam County
Clallam County commissioners have canceled their work session and regular business meeting this week.
The next meetings will be Jan. 2.
Clallam PUD
There will be no meeting of the Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners Monday or Jan. 1.
The next meeting will be Jan. 8.
