The Clallam County Board of Health will discuss COVID-19 when it meets at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will meet in the commissioners boardroom (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
It also will conduct a public hearing on amending the county’s solid waste regulations.
County commissioners
The three Clallam County commissioners will begin late on Tuesday — at 11:30 a.m. — to allow livestreaming of the COVID-19 briefing at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in the commissioners’ boardroom (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
A work session is set in the same place at 9 a.m. Monday with an executive session set for 12:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, commissioners will consider a variety of contracts and issue a call for bids for 2020 hot mix asphalt requirements.
Commissioners will consider supplemental appropriations on March 31.
On Monday, during a work session, commissioners will consider a land purchase agreement with Pacific West Timber Company LLC, for a right of way along Hoko Ozette Road for culvert placement.
They will consider issuing a call for bids for the 2020 crushing contract, discuss a contract with Clallam Economic Development Council, hear an update on the Veterans Service officer position, consider an agreement with Sound Law Center, LLC to provide code enforcement hearing examiner services and budget emergencies.
Monday’s executive session is to discuss collective bargaining.
Port Angeles schools
The Port Angeles School Board will conduct a special meeting to approve suspension of policies if necessary in light of the COVID-19 pandemic when it meets at 5 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be at the Lincoln Center, 905 W. Ninth St.
Sequim schools
The Sequim School Board will discuss action in light of COVID-19 when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday.
The board will meet at 503 N. Sequim Ave.
Board members also will consider policies on nutrition and health and on multi-tiered systems of support.
Port Angeles city
The Port Angeles City Council will discuss a plan for upcoming meetings should the council be unable to attend when it meets in regular season at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The council will meet at City Hall at 321 E. Fifth St.
During a special meeting at 5 p.m., the council will gather for a group photo and hear a presentation on parks and recreation.
During the regular session they will consider support of the state Patrol Crime Lab and Toxicology Lab, a strategic plan amendment, renewal of an agreement with Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team (OPNET) and hear a community development report.
Sequim city
Sequim City Council members will hear a report on COVID-19 and discuss emergency measures when it meets at 5 p.m. Monday.
The special meeting will be at Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St.
They will consider action upon declaration of civil emergency, future City Council meetings and review of planning calendar, be briefed on other city meetings and events and discuss other issues and concerns related to the worldwide pandemic.
Olympic Medical Center
Olympic Medical Center commissioners will hear a quality report from the chief nursing officer when they meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be in Linkletter Hall in the basement of the hospital at 939 E. Caroline St., Port Angeles.
They will hear an advocacy and operations update from the CEO, and will consider auxiliary bylaws revision, local government investment pool resolution and a real estate purchase, according to the agenda.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will discuss a fire code technician position when they meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at district headquarters, 323 N. Fifth Ave. in Sequim.
Commissioners also will discuss a Clallam County Superior Court summons and claim.
The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
Fire District 2
Clallam County Fire District No. 2 commissioners is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at 1212 E. First St.

Planning commission
The Clallam County Planning Commission meeting originally set for Wednesday has been canceled.
