The three Clallam County commissioners will hear a briefing from the Emergency Management Department on a simulated magnitude-9.0 Cascadia subduction zone earthquake Monday.
The work session will begin at 9 a.m. in the commissioners’ boardroom (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Commissioners also will hold a roundtable discussion about operating guidelines regarding private lawsuits.
The board’s regular business meeting will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Action items include:
■ An agreement with Glisson & Morris PS for legal services on appeals.
■ A contract amendment with WSU Kitsap County Extension changing the contract period and increasing funding.
■ A contact amendment with the state Department of Health adding statements of work and increasing funding.
■ An agreement with the state Department of Social and Health Services for advance funds in order to make payments to local providers of drug, alcohol and developmental disability services.
■ A bid award to Lakeside Industries Inc. for the 2015 hot mix asphalt and liquid asphalt supply.
■ A call for an April 21 hearing on a proposed ordinance creating a new chapter in the Clallam County Code titled “Carlsborg Sewer System Connection Requirements.”
Planning Commission
The Clallam County Planning Commission will conduct a work session on the draft Shoreline Master Program on Wednesday.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the commissioners’ meeting room (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse.
Olympic Medical Center
Olympic Medical Center commissioners will consider appointing a representative to the Economic Development Council when they meet Wednesday.
The meeting will be at 12:30 p.m. in Linkletter Hall in the basement of Olympic Medical Center, 939 Caroline St., Port Angeles.
An executive session is scheduled to discuss buying real estate and the performance of a public employee.
Other agenda items include:
■ An advanced practice clinician agreement between Peninsula Behavioral Health and Olympic Medical Physicians.
■ Funding for a Rapid Treatment Unit in the emergency department.
■ A resolution of appreciation for employees of the Clallam County Health Department Personnel.
■ Replacing the OMC heating system’s condensation tank.
■ Buying new X-ray equipment.
Clallam PUD
The Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners’ meeting for Monday has been canceled.
The next meeting will be April 6.
