The three Clallam County commissioners will consider an interagency agreement with the Clallam County Public Utility District for the relocation of transmission poles along Old Olympic Highway.
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. in the commissioners’ boardroom (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Clallam County plans to reconstruct and widen Old Olympic Highway between Gunn Road and McDonald Creek later this year.
Other agenda items include:
■ Acceptance of a Mountaineers Foundation grant for staff to complete the transfer of a water resources database.
■ Resolutions appointing members to the Agricultural Commission, Board of Equalization, Noxious Weed Control Board and Permit Advisory Board.
Commissioners will meet in the same boardroom at 9 a.m. Monday for their weekly work session.
The board will hear a status update on the Carlsborg sewer project at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Clallam PUD
Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners will consider an agreement with the Jefferson County PUD and Port Townsend Paper Corp. that sets forth the terms of interim operations in anticipation of a sale and purchase of transmission facilities in Jefferson County on Monday.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the boardroom of the Port Angeles main office, 2431 E. U.S. Highway 101.
Other agenda items:
■ A task order to a professional services agreement with Kennedy/Jenks Consultants to provide design engineering services during construction of the second phase of the Bluffs Well replacement project.
■ A staff recommendation to select an engineering firm to provide construction management administrative and oversight services for the Bluffs Well project.
■ A staff recommendation to select an engineering firm to provide field construction management and inspection services for the Bluffs Well project.
■ A resolution supplementing the compensation for the district auditor as acting treasurer controller.
■ An invitation to bid for 37 fiberglass transmission poles.
Port Angeles city
The Port Angeles City Council will consider submitting $900,000 in state Recreation and Conservation Office grant applications for a variety of projects, including Civic Field lighting, and possibly take action on an employee settlement agreement at a special meeting Tuesday.
The executive session will begin at 4:30 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
Council members may take action after the executive session, expected to last about 20 minutes.
They will discuss a settlement agreement regarding an employee during the closed session.
State applications would be made to fund replacement of floating docks at City Pier, Civic Field lighting replacements and for the city’s waterfront transportation improvement project.
Council members also will hear a presentation on the city’s long-range financial plan.
Sequim City Council
Sequim City Council members will discuss a 3 percent pay raise for City Manager Steve Burkett and an increase to council compensation in addition to reviewing the city’s ban on marijuana shops when they meet Monday.
The meeting will be at 5 p.m. at the Sequim Transit Center, 190 W. Cedar St.
A proposal to raise Burkett’s salary to $131,078 will be discussed and potentially approved.
Council compensation was discussed at its April 14 meeting and may be approved Monday. The proposal would increase monthly base pay while eliminating compensation for extra meetings.
Raises would begin only after the next elections for individual seats. Costs to the general fund would begin in 2016.
The city also will review its moratorium on marijuana businesses, enacted in March to enable the city to change its pot zoning in reaction to expected pre-emption legislation.
The state Legislature did not pass such laws.
