Port Angeles city
The Port Angeles City Council will hear a status report from the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce on a downtown vision project at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Sequim schools
The Sequim School Board will consider action on Superintendent Robert Clark’s contract and on a measure to extend the acting superintendent’s contract through Jan. 31 when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday.

Clark has been on paid leave during an investigation of a complaint that has not been described by the district. Jane Pryne served as acting superintendent until the end of December.
After the last school board meeting, the board president, Brandino Gibson, said that the board decided to follow legal recommendations concerning Clark but did not say what those recommendations are.
The board also will consider several policies, including one concerning conflicts of interest,
