EYE ON CLALLAM: County commissioners to discuss nuisance ordinance

The three Clallam County commissioners will discuss a nuisance ordinance in their weekly work session at 9 a.m. Monday.

• A hearing notice on tax levies to be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30.

• A hearing notice on the 2022 budget to be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7.

• An interagency agreement for the use of $5,000,000 of American Rescue Plan Act funding for grants to support private marine transportation activities affected by the closure of the U.S.-Canada border.

• A review of the “How Did We Do” report which compares each month’s spending against the 2021 budget.

Association of counties

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.

Both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.

Transportation Improvement Program

The Clallam County Public Works/Road Department will host a virtual open house on the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Port of Port Angeles commissioners will discuss the Western Port Angeles Harbor cleanup action plan during a regular meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The Olympic Educational Service District 114 board of directors will discuss superintendent search planning during an executive session during a special meeting at 10 a.m. Monday.

The board will also discuss personnel matters during a second executive session.

OESD 114 serves the 15 school districts on the Kitsap and North Olympic peninsulas by delivering educational services that can be more efficiently or economically performed regionally.
