Clallam County commissioners will discuss the county’s code enforcement program Monday.
The work session will begin at 9 a.m. in the commissioners’ boardroom (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Later in the meeting, commissioners will take action on resolutions establishing the 2018 general purpose property tax levy and 2018 road fund property tax levy.
Other discussion items for the work session include:
• A letter to Congress regarding funding for the Secure Rural Schools and Payments in Lieu of Taxes programs for rural timber counties.
• A contract change order with Aldergrove Construction, Inc. to extend time for court security improvements.
• A call for a hearing declaring a portion of a dike easement on the Dungeness River as surplus.
• A call for a hearing on the proposed surplus sale of one Sheriff’s Office vehicle.
Commissioners will hold a long-range planning meeting from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday in the small conference room in their suite.
The board will conduct its regular business meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Action items include:
• A contract change order with Aldergrove Construction, Inc. for the courthouse boiler replacement and veteran’s center ramp installation.
• An agreement with the state Department of Commerce for funding from the 2018 STOP Violence Against Women formula grant.
• A resolution regarding Olympic Discovery Trail planning and construction in Anderson Lake State Park in Jefferson County.
• A resolution adopting the 2018 construction program.
• Resolutions adopting a budget reduction, supplemental appropriations and budget revisions.
• A public hearing for the consideration of debatable budget emergencies.
Sequim city
The Sequim City Council will conduct a hearing and consider final approval of the 2018 budget when it meets at 5 p.m. Monday.
The council will meet in the Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St.
It also will consider adopting 2018 fees and rates.
The council will consider an arts advisory committee recommendation for Civic Center art and adopting a public records compliance policy.
It will consider an ordinance amending the code concerning access to subdivisions and starting the process of renaming the Guy Cole Convention Center in Carrie Blake Park.
Forks city
The Forks City Council will conduct a hearing on the 2018 budget when it meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The council will meet at City Hall, 500 E. Division St.
The council also will conduct McGinley annexation proceedings and set a hearing date for the proposed Robbins annexation.
Board of Health
The Clallam County Board of Health will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance to increase amount charged for certain environmental health services at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The hearing will be in Room 160 at the Clallam County Courthouse.

Growth Management
The Clallam County-Sequim-Port Angeles-Forks Growth Management Steering Committee will hold a continued meeting to review countywide planning policies Thursday.
The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. in Room 160 at the Clallam County Courthouse.
Quillayute Valley schools
Quillayute Valley School Board will discuss Spartan Stadium replacement when it meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will meet in the library of the Forks Intermediate School, 121 S. Spartan Ave.
The board also will discuss the Forks Intermediate School improvement plan ad will consider approving policy on classroom management, discipline and corrective action.
Port Angeles schools
Port Angeles School Board will conduct a special meeting on Wednesday at the Central Services Building, 216 E. Fourth St.
An agenda was not available as of Saturday.
Public Utility District
The Clallam County Public Utility District commission meeting originally set for Monday has been canceled.
The next meeting will be on Dec. 4.
