The three Clallam County commissioners will consider a proposed bid award to Lakeside Industries Inc. of Port Angeles for an annual supply of hot mix and liquid asphalt Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. in the commissioners’ boardroom (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
The $516,526 bid award was recommended by the county road department.
Other items set for action in the business meeting include:
■ A one-year contract extension with Correctional Healthcare Cos. Inc. to provide health care services for inmates at the Clallam County jail.
■ An agreement with the Clallam Conservation District for renewable resource conservation activities.
■ Contract amendments with Cedar Grove, Trillium Treatment Center, Olympic Personal Growth Center, Specialty Services II LLC, West End Outreach Services and True Star Behavioral Health changing Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery language.
■ An agreement with the state Military Department and U.S. Department of Homeland Security for an emergency management performance grant.
■ An agreement with ARINC for engineering and technical support for the Public Safety Radio Network.
■ An agreement with David Zehrung for services related to the Public Safety Radio Network.
■ A land purchase agreement for Lower Elwha Road reconstruction.
■ Three easement purchases for the Carlsborg sewer project.
Commissioners will meet in a work session at 9 a.m. Monday to preview items set for action in future meetings.
Discussion items include:
■ Proposed amendments to veterans’ assistance policy.
■ Proposed amendments to the park and recreation master plan.
■ A request for waiver of bids for the purchase of two used pneumatic tire compactors.
■ A proposed easement purchase for the Carlsborg sewer project.
■ A contract amendment with Grey & Osborne Inc. modifying a scope of work to include construction management for the Carlsborg sewer project.
Clallam PUD
Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners will hear an update on Clallam County Economic Development Council activities Monday.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Lake Crescent boardroom at the Carlsborg main office, located at 104 Hooker Road.
Other agenda items include:
■ A staff update on strategic plan objectives for year-end 2015.
■ Membership renewal in the North Olympia Peninsula Resource Conservation and Development Council.
■ Purchase of a digger derrick truck for the Port Angeles area.
■ A task order for design and construction documents for a Forks storage building and pole and storage yard facility.
■ A bid award for partial tenant improvement of the existing central warehouse facility.
■ Prequalifications of contractors for inclusion on the small works roster to perform work for the district.
■ Purchase of a used dump truck for the water department.
■ A resolution establishing titles and monthly salary ranges for staff employees.
■ Staff reports and customary business.
Sequim schools
The Sequim School Board will hear a midyear budget report when it meets Monday.
The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 503 N. Sequim Ave. The regular meeting will be preceded by a workshop on a plan of action at 5:30 p.m.
It will consider policies on suicide prevention, emergency treatment and excused and unexcused absences.
It will consider accepting the resignation, effective immediately, of Brittany Murdach, head girls soccer coach at Sequim High School.
Quillayute Valley schools
The Quillayute Valley School Board will consider refunding general obligation bonds when it meets Tuesday.
The board will meet at 6 p.m. at the library media center at Forks High School, 261 S. Spartan Ave.
It will consider approval of the sale and delivery of the district’s unlimited tax general obligation refunding bonds.
The board will hear a report on state timer lands.
An executive session to review a public employee’s performance is planned.
Clallam Conservation District
Clallam Conservation District commissioners will discuss the McDonald Creek irrigation diversion project and hear an update on River Road reservoir planning Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. in Suite H at Armory Square, 228 W. First St., Port Angeles.
Other agenda items include summer internships and cooperator and cost-share agreements.
