The three Clallam County commissioners will hear an annual report card on homelessness in a work session Monday.
The work session will begin at 9 a.m. in the commissioners’ boardroom (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Other discussion items include a letter of intent with the Peninsula Trails Coalition for a joint grant application to construct a trailhead for the Olympic Discovery Trail and a resolution restructuring the Carlsborg Community Advisory Council.
Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday for their regular business meeting.
Action items include:
■ A letter of support for an Advanced Composite Center Manufacturing Institute proposal.
■ An agreement with the Port Angeles School District for transition planning services for students with developmental disabilities between the ages of 18 and 21.
■ An agreement with Beaman Architecture Ltd. for design services associated with repairs and improvements to the historic courthouse.
■ An agreement and prospectus with the state Department of Transportation for the Old Olympic Highway paving project between the Dungeness River and Mariott Avenue.
■ A bid award to Interwest Construction Inc. for the Homestead section of the Olympic Discovery Trail near Lake Crescent.
■ A resolution authorizing a Peninsula Trails Coalition grant application to the state Recreation and Conservation Office.
■ A public hearing on a resolution reallocating regional Surface Transportation Program funding to the Old Olympic Highway project between the Dungeness River and Mariott Avenue.
■ A public hearing on a resolution adopting revisions to the six-year Transportation Improvement Program.
Port Angeles city
Port Angeles City Council members will consider adopting a proposed 2015-20 transportation improvement plan after conducting a public hearing on it when they meet Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., with the hearing starting at or around 6:30 p.m., in council chambers at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
Council members will hold a special meeting starting at 5:15 p.m. in the same place to hold an executive session to discuss potential litigation with legal counsel.
The five-year transportation improvement plan includes about $6.9 million worth of projects for which funding has been identified and about $59.8 million projects without funding.
Other agenda items for the 6 p.m. meeting include consideration of:
■ The first reading of proposed changes to an ordinance setting charges for reproductions of public records.
■ Approval of a $1.1 million contract with Port Angeles-based Jordan Excavating for stormwater management improvements along Fourth Street.
Clallam Transit
The Clallam Transit board will consider an interagency agreement with Peninsula College for a student bus pass program Monday.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. at the Clallam Transit System building at 830 W. Lauridsen Blvd.
Marine Resources
The Clallam County Marine Resources Committee on Monday will consider next year’s work plan and meet the interns who are working on marine debris, outreach and education, oil spill response and Olympia oyster restoration.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Room 160 at the Clallam County Courthouse.
Board of Health
The Clallam County Board of Health will hear information about the global public health threat posed by antibiotic-resistant bacteria, or superbugs, on Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Room 160 at the Clallam County Courthouse.
North Olympic Lead Entity
The North Olympic Lead Entity for Salmon will hear a presentation on the proposed Pysht Estuary salt marsh restoration and the Hoko 9000 road abandonment project Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the West End Youth and Community Center in Sekiu.
On Wednesday, the Lead Entity will meet at 3 p.m. in Room 160 of the Clallam County Courthouse for a presentation on a request for design of restoration and wood placement on the Little River.
Olympic Medical Center
Olympic Medical Center commissioners will recognize state Sen. Jim Hargrove, D-Hoquiam, when they meet Wednesday.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in Linkletter Hall in the lower conference area of the hospital at 939 E. Caroline St., Port Angeles.
Other agenda items include a briefing on hospital operations and an update on electronic medical records.
Hargrove represents the 24th District, which covers Clallam and Jefferson counties and a portion of Grays Harbor County.
Clallam PUD
The Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners’ meeting for Monday has been canceled.
The next meeting will be June 23 at the Port Angeles main office, 2431 E. U.S. Highway 101.
Planning Commission
The Clallam County Planning Commission meeting for Wednesday has been canceled.
The commission will reconvene July 2 at the Clallam County Courthouse.
