Clallam County commissioners will review a final report and discuss next steps for a boat wake dispute at Lake Sutherland on Monday.
The work session will begin at 9 a.m. in the commissioners’ board room (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

The county contracted with Peninsula Dispute Resolution Center to mediate a conflict between wake boat operators and Lake Sutherland property owners who raised concerns in public meetings last October about safety issues and damaged caused by large-wake-generating boats on the small lake west of Port Angeles.
Other discussion items for the work session include:
• An agreement with the state Department of Commerce for a secure residential crisis center and ancillary therapeutic services.
• An agreement with the state Department of Transportation for the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge.
• An agreement with Clallam Conservation District for resource conservation planning and implementation.
Commissioners will conduct their weekly business meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Action items include:
• A contract extension with Serenity House of Clallam County for a shelter expansion.
• An agreement with Anchor QEA, LLC for the Dungeness Off-Channel Reservoir.
• A Purdue Pharma Chapter 11 Bankruptcy vote relating to its role in the opioid crisis.
• A resolution for vacation of a county sewer line easement near Sekiu Airport Road.
• A resolution of a portion of county right of way at Lincoln Avenue.
• Notice that supplemental appropriations and one budget revision will be adopted by resolution July 27.
• A call for July 27 hearing for consideration of debatable budget emergencies.
• A continued public hearing for an update to the shoreline master plan and administrative procedures.
Port of Port Angeles
Port of Port Angeles commissioners will consider approving matching funds for a $4.14 million grant application to refurbish Terminal 2 East Pier, which is leased to Black Ball Ferry Line, when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The port is in the process of applying for funding under the federal Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP) to assist in the rehabilitation of Terminal 2 East Pier. The port would match the federal grant with $1,86 million for the $6 million project.
The commissioners will discuss the marine drive lease rate, consider a berthage agreement with Marine Spill Response Corp., and consider accepting a $59,000 American Rescue Plan Act grant for the Fairchild International Airport.
Public Utility District
Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners will hear an update on the state’s utility disconnection moratorium at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Staff will provide an update on the state’s disconnection moratorium and its expected impact on the district. The moratorium was recently extended through Sept. 30.
Other agenda items for the virtual meeting include appointments for Northwest River Partners, reopening district facilities to the public after COVID-19 and efforts to mitigate bird/power line interactions at Kirner Road near Sequim.
Sequim city
The Sequim City Council will conduct a public hearing on revised infill development standards when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday.
At 5:15 p.m. will be a workshop, offering opportunities to comment on community development processes.

Forks city
The Forks City Council will hear a presentation from Prosecuting Attorney Mark Nichols on mental health court at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The hybrid virtual and in-person meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Forks City Hall, 500 E. Division St.

Other agenda items include a state Department of Health declaration of covenant for the Campbell Pit Well and a discussion on a shoreline restoration plan.
Conservation District
The Clallam Conservation District board will discuss a memorandum of agreement with Clallam County in a hybrid virtual and in-person meeting at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in Suite G, the Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP) conference room, at Armory Square, 228 W. First St., Port Angeles.
