■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings usually are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.
Due to the proximity of New Year’s weekend and in observance of Martin Luther King Day on Jan. 18, the chamber will host only one luncheon in January, scheduled Jan. 11.
Tickets for that luncheon are $15 and can be purchased from the meeting room cashier.
For those not having lunch, there is a $3 participation fee that includes a beverage.
■ Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly breakfast meetings are held at 7 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of the month at the Black Bear Diner, 1471 E. Washington St., Sequim.
The meeting agenda for this Tuesday was not available by press time Saturday.

■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill, 1222 S. Forks Ave.
This Wednesday’s gathering will be a business meeting.
Lunch of a baked potato bar costs $9.75.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
This Monday’s program will feature Jeff Randall on the Port Townsend School District’s proposed $41 million bond.
Lunch by Subway costs $8.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are held Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
This coming Tuesday, Christina Hurst, public health program manager at Clallam County Health and Human Services, will discuss the county’s needle-exchange program.
Drug users can exchange used needles for new ones, reducing the danger of communicable disease and helping prevent dirty needles from being discarded in public. Scores of people who use the service now also have access to naloxone, a drug that halts the effects of heroin overdose.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
