■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.
This Monday’s luncheon program will feature a panel discussion on mental illness and resources for businesses regarding mental health issues in the workplace.
Scheduled panelists are Dr. Joshua Jones from Peninsula Behavioral Health, Julie Black from Olympic Medical Center and Margi Ahlgren or Ann Foulk from the Clallam County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Tickets for the luncheon are $15 and can be purchased from the meeting room cashier.
For those not having lunch, there is a $3 participation fee that includes a beverage.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
This Monday’s luncheon program will feature consultants Celia Fry and Lynn Meyer of Age at Home LLC of Port Townsend, who will discuss “Aging in Place: Is Your Home Ready for Your Future?”
Lunch at $8 will be served by Subway.
■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at JT’s Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave.
This Wednesday’s featured speaker will be Carol Johnson, executive director of the North Olympic Timber Action Committee Inc.
Lunch costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.75; and a cup of soup, $4. The entree will be cheese enchiladas.
■ North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce — Representing the “Emerald Towns” of the Hood Canal, Quilcene and Brinnon, the chamber meets monthly on the third Monday of the month.
The chamber will convene a community meeting this Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Brinnon Community Center, 306144 U.S. Highway 101 in Brinnon, to hear a panel discussion on school safety.
Scheduled panelists will be Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Peterson, Quilcene-Brinnon Schools Superintendent Wally Lis and Quilcene School Principal Gary Stebbins.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
This Tuesday’s speaker is Jeff Bohman of the Peninsula Trails Coalition.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
