SEQUIM — Sequim’s citizenry held up the peace sign en masse as photographer Ernst-Ulrich Shafer took a picture of the city for its 100th birthday Friday night.
At the following “Street Dance of the Century,” Guitarist Guy Johnson of the Guy Johnson Band took to the streets.
Sequim incorporated Oct. 31, 1913, and has been marking the date with events all year.
Meanwhile, Forks’ weekend celebration continues today with the second day of the West End Thunder drag races, with gates opening at 9 a.m.
And Port Angeles celebrated Independence Day with a parade and fireworks, while concerts were held in Port Townsend.
