Emergency Port Angeles water main repair set for Thursday

Some residents may experience low water pressure

PORT ANGELES — An emergency repair of a 20-inch water main, which broke on Wednesday, is planned from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday.

Some residents of Port Angeles may experience low water pressure or no water at all during the repair, the city said in a press release issued late Wednesday afternoon.

Affected residents live east of Golf Course Road to Mount Pleasant Road, Penn Street to Del Guzzi Drive, U.S. Highway 101 and First Street to Village Circle and the Rook Rod area.

While city crews work to mend the pipe, flagging and traffic control will be implemented on Golf Course Road between Woodhaven Drive and Lindberg Road.
