PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Noon Rotary will host an electronics recycling event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at State Farm Insurance, 611 E. Front St.
Computers, printers and miscellaneous electronics that might otherwise end up in a landfill will be accepted.
Although there will be no charge to drop off items, a donation of $5 for small items and $10 to $20 for larger and multiple items is suggested.
All donations are tax-deductible and support the clubs’s community foundation, which provides scholarships to students, contributes to beautification projects and supports local programs. Last year, Port Angeles High School graduates received $24,000 in Rotary scholarships.
Those who wish to drop off their electronics are asked to turn right onto North Albert Street, turn right into the alley and loop through the back of the parking lot.
