Liz Mueller, vice chair of the the Jamestown S’Kallam Tribal Council, holds the 2009 Olympic Leader plaque awarded to the tribe by the Clallam County Economic Development Council at the EDC’s annual dinner on Friday.
The award recognizes a business or business leader that has had a significant impact on the economic growth and stability of Clallam County.
The tribe was applauded at the dinner for its “impressive management” of 7 Cedars Casino and its other businesses and medical services including Jamestown Family Health Clinic, Jamestown Family Dental Clinic, Jamestown Health and Medical Supply Co., Northwest Native Expressions Art Gallery, JKT Development, JKT Construction, Jamestown Excavating, Jamestown Homebuilding and Jamestown Information Technologies.
