PORT ANGELES — The busy intersection of Lincoln and Eighth streets was closed for about 20 minutes Saturday morning after a truck rear-ended a Clallam Transit bus.
The driver of the truck, Lisa Christie of Forks, was transported to Olympic Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, but no one on the bus was injured, Port Angeles Police Sgt. Barb McFall said.
The collision was reported at 9:43 a.m.
Lincoln Street — which is part of U.S. Highway 101 — was closed so the vehicles could be cleared.
Christie, 55, was cited with following too close behind the bus.
