SEQUIM — American Red Cross disaster nurse Shirley Williams will discuss disaster response and emergency preparedness at the Dungeness Schoolhouse today.
Her talk will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the schoolhouse, 2781 Towne Road.
Admission to the presentation, hosted by the Museum & Arts Center in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley — or MAC — will be $5 at the door for MAC members and $8 for nonmembers.
Williams will provide information from the Red Cross on the massive March 11 quake and tsunami in Japan and will discuss her experiences in disaster response over the past decade, including to such events as 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina.
