THERE IS ALWAYS so much to see and do at the Jefferson and Clallam county fairs!
Our County Fair Photo Contest is an opportunity to showcase your photo taken at either fair of an entertaining performer, a great exhibit, rodeo or carnival high-action or cute animals — and be in the running for prizes.
How to enter
Entering is easy: Go to http://pdn.upickem.net/engine/welcome.aspx?contestid=184523.
You can also enter by going to www.peninsuladailynews.com and look for the “County Fair Photo Contest” button in the middle of the webpage (below “Hot Links” and below and to left of “Peninsula Poll”).
Follow the instructions for registering — it will only take a minute — then post your photo. Please remember to include your full name and city of residence!
(If you have previously participated in one of our photo contests, you can just login with the same email address and password.)
The three winning photos — determined by online voting — will receive prizes from our local sponsors: Co-op Farm & Garden; Dr. Richard E. Davies, DDS; 7 Cedars Casino; and Wilder Auto.
The contest is free, but only residents of Clallam County or Jefferson County can enter. And you must be age 13 or older. Parents may submit photos taken by their children younger than 13.
All photos must be submitted digitally on the web — sorry, no entries by mail or in person.
PLEASE NOTE — Deadline for entries is Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. Online voting begins at midnight Thursday, Aug. 27.
The contest is sponsored by Peninsula Daily News, Sequim Gazette and Forks Forum.
