Good flying weather Saturday could bring up to 75 small aircraft for Airport Days at Diamond Point Airport straddling Clallam and Jefferson counties.
Attendance at the one-day event is usually directly tied to the weather, according to Gary Getch, a festival organizer.
The event, which celebrates the fact there is an airport at Diamond Point, lasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Getch said. The public is invited to view the aircraft.
In addition, members of the local Experimental Aircraft Association will provide rides for youngsters age 7-17 as part of their Young Eagles program.
EAA member Bill Gohsman said each youngster will receive a 20-minute flight, have his or her picture taken with the pilot and receive a certificate commemorating the event.
The Young Eagle flights will be given from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. according to Gohsman. Young Eagles must have a permission form signed by a parent or guardian in order to take part.
