Construction testing planned on Hood Canal Bridge

Construction testing will cause brief closures on the Hood Canal Bridge between 10 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. tonight and again on Friday, the state Department of Transportation says.

Construction crews will test the new west-half traffic and barrier gates.

Drivers should expect 20- to 30-minute delays during the evening and early-morning work hours, the Department of Transportation said.
