THE THREE WINNERS of this year’s Peninsula Daily News 2012 Holiday Lights Contest have been chosen, picked by our online voters — and all three are wonderfully spectacular:
First Prize — McMaster, 2006 W. 4th St., Port Angeles (“Lots of lights, lots of inflatables . . . big sock monkey, Santa coming out of an outhouse and more! Merry Christmas, everyone!”).
It drew these comments: “LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this house! You really must drive by, much better in person” and “Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a must see.”
Second Prize — Dan and Laurie, 460 Guy Kelly Road, Port Angeles (“Lots of lights, blowmolds and blowups. A little way outside of town but well worth the drive. You will not be disappointed!”)
Third Prize — Osterberg Christmas, 1521 S. O St., Port Angeles.
“Our favorite display,” wrote one of the contest voters.
Other comments: “The very best display in town. A must see!” “Very, very pretty. Kent does such a wonderful job, and I know it is a lot of work. Beautiful.” “Best Christmas lights in PA. Great job, Kent!”
