BECAUSE OF THE possibility of more rain tonight, Concert on the Pier in Port Angeles will move from City Pier and will be held two blocks away at The Gateway, corner of Lincoln and Front streets.
The Gateway — aka, Gateway Transit Center — is large and sheltered, with a roof.
Tonight’s concert will take place as scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tonight’s band is The Soulshakers (blues).
IMPORTANT — Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. There are no chairs at The Gateway.
As with City Pier, there is parking in and around The Gateway. It is also a dog-friendly venue, but no smoking, no skateboards, no alcohol are allowed.
Two snack and beverage vendors are scheduled to be at The Gateway tonight.

■ PORT TOWNSEND CONCERT ON THE DOCK — Thursday, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Ko Ko Jo (classic rock and originals).
The free Port Townsend Concerts on the Dock, sponsored by the Port Townsend Main Street Program, continues every Thursday through Aug. 28 at the Pope Marine Plaza in downtown Port Townsend.
Bring a chair or blanket and your shades. The concerts are for all ages. Lots of danceable music.
A wine, beer and cider garden for concertgoers is available at the plaza beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Next Concert on the Dock: The High Council (rock, blues, funk, reggae, livetronica), Aug. 21.
■ PORT ANGELES SUMMERTIME MUSIC! — Thursday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Good Machine (folk and bluegrass) at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
The three-concert Port Angeles Summertime Music! series concludes Thursday, Aug. 21, funded by the Port Angeles Friends of the Library.
Bring a picnic and blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
Aug. 21 concert: The Winterlings (indie folk duo with guitar, ukulele, violin, banjitar and percussion).
■ PORT TOWNSEND SUMMER BAND — Saturday, 11 a.m. during the Uptown Fair on the Port Townsend Community Center lawn at Tyler and Lawrence streets.
Popular music by the 40-member band.
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, family and a picnic.
Next PT Summer Band concert: Sunday, Aug. 24.
■ SEQUIM CITY BAND — Sunday, Aug. 17, at 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The band will play standards, Broadway, marches, music from around the globe at the James Center for the Performing Arts amphitheater in the Sequim Water Reuse Park, 563 N. Rhodefer Road, just north of Carrie Blake Park (see first item).
Bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.
