Comic strip to be replaced

This is the last day readers will see Dilbert in the Peninsula Daily News’ color comics.

Beginning March 11, the PDN’s color comics will not include Dilbert due to recent racist comments made by its creator promoting segregation. We cannot support or condone such behavior and believe it is important to take a stand against racism and discrimination in all its forms.

The comics in today’s newspaper had already been printed when the comments were made.

We are actively searching for a suitable replacement for Dilbert in the weekend edition.
