SHINE — A Port Orchard girl was injured in a two-car wreck on state Highway 104 near Paradise Bay Road, the State Patrol said.
Ashlynn M. Meisenheimer, 16, was taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton after the collision at 4:41 p.m. Tuesday, the State Patrol said.
Her condition was not available Wednesday.
A 2007 Ford Expedition SUV driven by Dan L. Cameron, 85, of Nordland stuck the rear of the Nissan Sentra driven by Rachel A. Bouchard, 19, of Port Orchard after Bouchard suddenly stopped to avoid hitting a dog, the State Patrol said.
Neither Cameron nor Bouchard were hurt, the State Patrol said.
Cameron was cited for following too closely, according to the State Patrol memo.
