PORT ANGELES — “At Last,” “We Kiss in a Shadow,” “I Just Found Out about Love”: They’re a few of the numbers on the set list as the Peninsula College Vocal Jazz Ensemble leaves campus for a concert at Studio Bob this Thursday night.
Admission is free to the 7 p.m. performance, which will showcase 19 singers, 20 songs and a jazz band. Studio Bob, upstairs at 118½ E. Front St., is open to all ages.
Soloists in Thursday’s concert will include Jessie Spicher with “You’ve Changed,” Daniel Camper with “Fly Me to the Moon” and Marissa Wilson’s “St. Louis Blues,” while group numbers range from “Sway” to “We’ve Got a World that Swings.”
The jazz combo, to accompany the singers and play a few Latin and swing instrumentals, features drummer Terry Smith, bassist Ted Enderle, saxophonist Craig Buhler and pianist Al Harris.
