PORT ANGELES — The city of Port Angeles is taking applications for a city representative on the Clallam County Opportunity Fund Advisory Board.
The position will be open until filled. The term is three years.
Members are selected based upon significant experience at a senior management or supervisory level in one or more of these areas:
■ Business finance or banking.
■ Regional economic planning.
■ Business recruitment and retention.
■ Industrial or manufacturing business management.
■ Civil engineering.
Funds from the Opportunity Fund Program are intended to go toward improving the economy in the incorporated and unincorporated areas of Clallam County through attracting businesses with grants and low interest loans for public facilities.
The Opportunity Fund Board makes recommendations to the county commissioners, who make the final decision, on the use of funds for public facility projects.
