PORT ANGELES — Several offices lack candidates for the Nov. 7 general election as of today, which marks the final day of candidate filing week.
Those offices are the following: Clallam County Hospital District 1, commissioner Positions 2 and 4; Cape Flattery School District School Board, Director District 1; county Fire District 1, commissioner Positions 2 and 4; and Sunland Water District, commissioner Position 2.
Candidates can file online at http://tinyurl.com/PDN-OnlineFiling until 4 p.m. today.
In-person filing ends at 4:30 p.m. today at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Candidate filing fees, regardless of filing method, must be received by the Auditor’s Office no later than 4:30 p.m. today to complete the filing process. Payment must be by cash or check.
Credit and debit cards are not accepted.
Late payments are not accepted and invalidate the candidate application.
