Tiffany Smith is taking her reign as queen to a new realm.
After a year leading Joyce Daze royalty, Smith was crowned Clallam County Fair Queen for 2002 Saturday night.
“It made my day,” Smith said moments after 2001 Queen Hillary LeDuke bestowed Smith the title.
“I didn’t expect to be queen because I was Joyce Daze queen last year,” she said.
Smith, 17, will lead this year’s fair royalty, along with princesses Kristy Dinius, 15, of Sequim, and Jamie Jackson, 18, of Port Angeles.
This year’s fair is scheduled for Aug. 15 to Aug. 18.
