A Port Angeles city planning commissioner filed Monday to ensure at least a two-person race for the Port Angeles City Council seat being vacated by Orville Campbell.
Fred Norton will face previously announced candidate Grant Munro, a retired Rayonier Inc. vice president, for the council seat.
Both filed Monday, the first day candidates for the fall elections could file in person at the Clallam County Auditor’s Office in the county courthouse.
Filing will continue through Friday at 4:30 p.m.
