Sue Forde of Sequim has been elected to a second term as the chair of the Clallam County Republican Party while Jennie Peterson of Sequim is the new chair of the Clallam County Democrats.
Nathan Adkisson of Sequim is the vice chair of the county Democrat party, and Brian Pruiett of Carlsborg is the Republican vice chair.
Both Forde and Pruiett were candidates for the state Legislature in the election that concluded Nov. 3. Party representatives said both polled well against the Democrat incumbents, who maintained their seats.
Republicans conducted a reorganization meeting on Dec. 3 while Democrats conducted theirs on Dec. 19.
The Clallam County Democrat executive committee is now also composed of; Rick Robinson, Port Angeles, state committee member; Kristina Holtrop, Sequim, state committee member, Dale Nachreiner, Port Angeles, treasurer; Catherine Harper, Port Angeles, recording secretary; and Denise Mackenstadt, Sequim, corresponding secretary.
Additionally, the following Democrat trustees were elected:
District 1: Liz Bumgarner, Sequim; Kristina Holtrop, Sequim; and Tim Wheeler, Sequim.
District 2: Kris Grier, Port Angeles; Betsy Robins, Port Angeles; and Hank Warren, Port Angeles.
District 3: Joe McGimpsey, Neah Bay; Linda Middleton, Forks; and Ken Reandeau, Port Angeles.
In addition to Forde and Pruiett, serving on the Clallam County Republican Party executive committee are Jayna Lehmer and Dick Pilling, who represent Clallam County at the state party; District 1 board member Lois Perry; District 2 board members Richard Swan and Martha Ireland, and District 3 board members Karen Rogers and Annette Grant.
