Cash-strapped Clallam County will begin 2002 with its new 37.5-hour workweek Wednesday.
County offices will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday — a half-hour later in the morning and 30 minutes earlier in the afternoon.

Building maintenance staffers are changing signs outside the County Courthouse, he said.
