PORT ANGELES — The current appointed Clallam County community development director filed to run in the first election to fill his job.
The position became elected last fall when county voters approved a revision to the county charter that had been recommended by a charter review commission.
Bob Martin of Sequim joins two other candidates seeking to be the first elected top county planner.
Previously filing their candidacies were Rob Robertsen and John H. Miller, both of Port Angeles.
Filing for community development director and a host of others across the county ends at 4:30 p.m. today.
