PORT ANGELES — In addition to Camp David Jr., other Clallam County Park and Recreation facilities will see fee increases and changes to how the fees are charged.
Overnight camping at Dungeness and Salt Creek will increase from $22 to $25 per campsite for non-utility sites rented by county residents and from $26 to $30 for non-utility sites rented by non-county residents.
Utility sites rented by county residents will increase from $28 to $30 per campsite and those rented by non-county residents will increase from $30 to $35 per campsite.
The reservation fee for overnight camping at the Dungeness Group Area will increase from $30 per night for nonprofit youth organizations up to 10 people ($4 per night over 10) and $50 per night for other groups ($5 per night over 10) to $125 per night for up to 15 people and $5 for every person over 15 up to 50 people.
The fee for the Salt Creek picnic shelter will be $80 per day, eliminating the previous half-day rentals. The Dungeness picnic shelter rate will increase from $40 per day to $50 per day and $20 per half day to $25 per half day (opening until 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. until dusk).
The Beach Cabin and Wohelo Log Cabin will cost $130 per night plus $1 per person per night for organized youth groups, $200 per night plus $2 per person per night for organized adult groups and $200 per night plus $3 per person per night for individual, family and friends groups.
The previous rates were $62 per night for youth who were county residents, $82 per night for county adults and non-county youth and $97 per night for adults who weren’t county residents.
