CLALLAM BAY — The Clallam Bay Sekiu Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of the art show held during the 2019 Clallam Bay Sekiu Fun Days.
The Best in Show artwork is Lora Malakoff for “Big Sky.”
Best in Show for crafts is Judy Jannausch for “Log Cabin Variation.”
Riley Howell earned Best in Show for children’s art with “Garvy.”
Other winners include:
• Art: first place, Lora Malakoff, “Roosevelt Beach;” second place (four-way tie) Paul Blake, “Thinking of Escher;” Flora Finley, “Nesting Time;” Lora Malakoff, “South of Forks;” and Carol Simons, “Hatter Creek Aspen;” third place, Lora Malakoff, “View From the Top;” and honorable mentions for Jeanette Gilmore, “Cape Disappointment” and Carol Simons, “Three Amigos.”
• Crafts: first place, Loretta Klock, “Happy Camper;” Lora Malakoff, “Swan Lake;” and Loretta Klock “Penny Quilt.”
The Mark Bowlby Award was won by Martha Ellul for “Wheeee!”
The Memorial Award was won by Mary K. Michelina for “Star Bright, Star Wright.”
