Cherry blossoms sign of spring in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — The first day of spring is Thursday, March 19, and cherry blossom trees are already blooming around the Peninsula.

The tree pictured stands with three others next to the Safeway gas station on Jefferson Street in Port Townsend.
