PORT ANGELES — A 28-year-old Port Angeles man has been charged with three counts of selling methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school bus stop.
Craig A. Larson, charged Monday, was summoned to appear in Clallam County Superior Court on June 21.
The Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team, or OPNET, said Larson sold 8 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant last October and November.
The three sales, which amounted to $740, took place at Larson’s residence on the 2000 block of Arbutus Lane, OPNET said, adding that the house is 430 feet from a school bus stop, which triggered the enhancements to the charges.
“The Larson case is just one of OPNET’s 26 methamphetamine cases,” OPNET Supervisor Jason Viada said.
“Charges have been filed in 12 of the cases. Arrests and charges are soon anticipated in the remaining 14 methamphetamine cases.”
