PORT TOWNSEND — Internationally known singer and songwriter Charley Thweatt will share his music and spiritual perspective in a concert and workshop Thursday.
Thweatt’s “Chants Encounters” will be from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Masonic Hall, 1338 Jefferson St., in Port Townsend.
Suggested donation is $20, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds, said United Church of Port Townsend, which is hosting “Chants Encounters.”
Food and beverages will be available during intermission.
Thweatt has played as the opening act for such notables as Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Ram Dass, Marianne Williamson and Louise Hay.
In 30 years on the road, he has played his inspired acoustic music on five continents and produced 13 CDs.
The evening program will include a concert in the first half, with many opportunities to participate and sing along.
During the second half of the evening, Thweatt will switch gears and lead a short spiritual workshop.
