PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office Chain Gang removed snow from the county shop, Lauridsen Boulevard, Dungeness County Park and Salt Creek Recreation Area during the week of Jan. 13-17.
Crew members assisted the county Roads Division by digging a ditch and assisting with repairs to fix flooding on Finn Hall Road.
Crew members shoveled a load of sand from a dump truck at Mount Pleasant pit so it could be repaired.
Crew members shoveled sand out of a dump truck stuck in a ditch at South Bagley Creek to assist with its recovery.
Crew members dug out another dump truck suck in a ditch on View Ridge Drive.
Crew members also cleaned up debris from a fallen tree at 11th and Cherry streets.
So far this year, the chain gang has cleaned 46.8 miles of roadway, picked up 1,295 pounds of roadside litter and picked up 795 pounds of illegal dumpsite litter.
