CARLSBORG — A Port Orchard woman was in satisfactory Saturday condition at Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center after her vehicle collided with a sheriff’s patrol car on U.S. Highway 101.
Michelle L. Pettit, 28, was airlifted to Harborview with abdominal injuries sustained in the Friday night crash, a Harborview nursing supervisor said.
Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputy Todd Yarnes, 48, and two children riding in Pettit’s Buick four-door were not injured in the crash, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The collision occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Friday on Highway 101 at the intersection of Sherburne Road near McDonald Creek.
