CARLSBORG — Two years of work by the Carlsborg Community Advisory Council outlining infrastructural needs and associated financing received a quiet response from an audience of about 35 at a forum Tuesday night.
Clallam County commissioner Steve Tharinger, D-Dungeness, and Associate County Planner Bruce Emery both said the plan for the 560-acre Carlsborg urban growth area isn’t close to adoption yet.
“We’ll have to put regulations and statutes in place to go with the recommendations,” Tharinger said.
There will be a public hearing before county commissioners in 4 to 6 weeks. But Tharinger said it may be near the end of the year before commissioners take action.
