PORT ANGELES — Nineteen Port Angeles High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members recently competed at a regional competition at Columbia Junior High School in Fife.
Students earned a total of 34 top-five finishes, including nine first places, with 14 students qualifying for the state conference.
The following students have qualified to attend the State Business Leadership Conference from April 15-17 in Spokane:

■  Senator Atwater: Introduction to business, third place; introduction to business communication, fourth place; introduction to parliamentary procedure, first place; public speaking I, third place.
■  Michael Chong: Computer problem-solving, fourth place; cybersecurity, third place.
■  Brandy Clark: Help desk, first place.
■  Haylen Gerhard: Business math, fourth place.
■  Ashley Graham: Business law, fifth place.
■  Amber Hamilton: Introduction to parliamentary procedure, second place.
■  Silas Johnson: Business ethics team, third place; job interview, first place; sales presentation, first place.
■  Mary Kheriaty: Future business leader, second place; insurance and risk management, fifth place; social media campaign team, fifth place.
■  Emily Menshew: Digital video production, fifth place; introduction to parliamentary procedure, third place.
■  Matthew Mitchell: Cybersecurity, fifth place; network concepts, second place; network design team, first place.
