PORT ANGELES — Two new vendors have been added to the Saturday farmers market at the corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, which is open all year from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WeDo Fudge owners Charles and Christina Norman began the business of making fudge in 2013 and offer many different styles and flavors.
Free samples are available.
Also new to the market is Eric Pozgay, known as “The Fresh Food Guy.”
“Fresh pasta is something we have been missing at our market for several years now, and we are thrilled to have Eric on board bringing us his amazing pasta,” said Cynthia Warne, market manager.

PORT ANGELES — WorkSource Clallam County will host several employment-related classes for students, parents and seniors.
All classes will take place at the WorkSource office at 228 E. First St.
■ Perfecting Applications: Learn how employers read applications and how to be better prepared to meet an employer’s expectations; 2 p.m.- 4 p.m., Wednesday.
■ Skills and Abilities Analysis: Learn to identify, demonstrate and package skills with confidence that will be meaningful to employers; 1p.m.-3 p.m., Thursday.
■ Pathways Orientation for Youth Ages 16 to 21: An educational and employment assistance program for income-eligible youth; 4 p.m. -5 p.m., Thursday.
■ Basic Computer Class: Improve computer skills and knowledge of computer operations; 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 25.
■ Interviewing Techniques: Learn interviewing tips and get a chance to practice answers to frequently asked questions; 9 a.m.-noon, Thursday, March 27.
■ Dealing with Job Loss: Learn to focus on a positive future after losing a job and prepare for the next steps in a career; 1 p.m.-3 p.m., Thursday, March 27.
■ Open Computer Lab: Staff will answer questions about email, online job searches, navigating the Web and more; 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday, March 31.

DECA winner
BELLINGHAM — Western Washington University business students took top honors at the 2014 Collegiate DECA Pacific Northwest Career Development Conference fromFeb. 27 through March 3 in Seattle.
Elle McGlocklin of Port Angeles/Edmonds took first place in marketing management.
McGlocklin and other students competed in business simulations, case studies and prepared presentations with varying career focuses such as project management, marketing and emerging technologies.
Among many honors, Western received four first-place, four second-place and five third-place awards.
Those 13 top three awards equaled 19 top three finishes for Western, as some students competed in teams of two or three.
An additional eight competitors qualified to move on to the ICDC with Western finishing with 27 spots at the international competition held in Washington, D.C.
HUD loan applications in Port Townsend
PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Main Street Spring HUD Loan application deadline is Monday, March 31, at 5 p.m.
These funds can help property owners accomplish historic preservation and safety improvements in their buildings and are available to commercial buildings in Port Townsend’s Downtown and Uptown Commercial Historic Districts.
With these funds, building owners have repaired roofs, fixed staircases, re-pointed brick facades, installed windows and improved the safety of their buildings.
