SEQUIM — First Federal has made two changes to its Sequim Avenue branch team.
Longtime branch manager Christy Rookard has a new role as retail training specialist.
Rookard’s duties include “facilitating training . . . as well as designing and developing instructional materials and performance aids and evaluating/improving program effectiveness,” according to First Federal.
“She will provide support of sales and service efforts designed to retain existing relationships and enable growth of new relationships.”
Shenna Straling-Younger has joined as Sequim branch manager/assistant vice president.
She oversees daily operations at the branch, including the management of business development, banking activity, products and services.
Before joining First Federal, Straling-Younger was a branch manager for Union Bank.

■ Thursday: Scott Nagel, executive director of the Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival, discusses the event which runs this coming Friday through Sunday in Port Angeles.
