PORT ANGELES — After 15 years of ownership, Ed and Wanda Smith have sold Peaks Brew Pub, 130 S. Lincoln St., to Jan Robison.
The pub has been renamed as The Lazy Moon Craft Tavern and is open daily from noon to 2 a.m.
It features local and regional craft-brewed beers and wines along with pub food.

Housing director
PORT ANGELES — Kay Kassinger has been named executive director of the Peninsula Housing Authority.
“Kay has been with Peninsula Housing Authority for over eight years, and we are confident that she will provide the leadership needed to keep us moving forward in the creation of more affordable housing in both Clallam and Jefferson counties,” said Norma Turner, chairwoman of the authority’s board of commissioners. The board appointed Kassinger.
Kassinger previously served as the director of acquisition and development for the housing authority.
She has been involved in projects for Burke Place and Peninsula Apartments in Forks, Wildwood Terrace Apartments and Maloney Heights in Port Angeles, and with more than 60 homes built by families through the self-help program.
Wine released
SEQUIM — Wind Rose Cellars has released its new Harvest Moon cabernet sauvignon.
Owner and vintner David Volmut said the winery will donate to the North Olympic Land Trust 15 percent of the proceeds from each bottle sold.
The Washington-grown grapes for the Harvest Moon were pressed in Sequim on the harvest moon of 2012 and bottled one year later on the 2013 harvest moon.

D.C. guardianship
SEQUIM — Mindi R. Blanchard of Bridge Builders Ltd., 305 S. Sequim Ave., will present “Guardian Qualifications: A Journey, Not a Destination” at the World Congress on Adult Guardianship.
The event, set May 28-30 in the Washington, D.C., area, will include 120 speakers from 21 countries on adult guardianship issues.
“The World Congress presents shared problems from new perspectives and offers ideas and solutions from multiple viewpoints, cultures and guardianship systems,” said Blanchard.
