PORT ANGELES — The Jefferson Parent-Teacher Organization and Baskets A’Bloomin’, a local business, have teamed up to bring flower color bowls and hanging baskets, and order forms are due Friday.
Hanging baskets are $30 each and color bowls are $20.
Proceeds support the parent-teacher organization’s Education Enrichment Fund, which provides field trip transportation, tech support and supplies, science, art and music assemblies. and more to Jefferson Elementary School students and community.

Kula’s new owner
PORT ANGELES — Kula Yoga, 128 E. Front St., has a new owner.
Jenny Stewart Houston is taking over for Travis Reimer, according to a news release.
She moved from Vancouver, B.C., to Port Angeles and also works as a yoga instructor for CageworX MMA and as a server at Next Door Gastropub.
Kula Yoga’s doors will be closed today and Friday for remodeling and space improvement.
On Saturday, the doors will open for a community open house.
The open house will feature refreshments, five free 20-minute yoga sessions with the Kula teaching staff, a 20 percent discount on all yoga passes all day long and more.
The free yoga sessions start at 10 a.m., and the following sessions will be held every hour on the hour until 3 p.m.
