PORT TOWNSEND — The Broken Spoke bicycle shop recently relocated to its new home at 630 Water St. in the historic Fowler-Caines Building.
At 2,000 square feet, the new location is 300 square feet larger and will allow the shop to expand both its retail displays and service department.
Shop hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
Thrift shop set
SEQUIM — The Sequim-Dungeness Hospital Guild’s Thrift Shop, 204 W. Bell St., will be open at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7.
Remaining pieces of historic Hall pottery will be featured.
Items available for purchase include “like new” prom dresses, summer clothing and accessories, fine jewelry and handbags, furniture, kitchenware and books and CDs.
White-tagged items will be marked at half-price.
Volunteers and consignors are needed.

Special release
SEQUIM — Wind Rose Cellars will have a special release of its 2013 “Field Blend” red wine at the winery, 143 W. Washington St., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 11.
Food will be provided, and a portion of the proceeds from “Field Blend” will be donated to the North Olympic Land Trust of Clallam County.
There also will be live music by Sarah Shea & Ginger Jazz from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

10-year anniversary
PORT TOWNSEND — Mt. Townsend Creamery celebrates its 10-year anniversary this month.
The creamery was started by Ryan Trail, Matt Day and Will O’Donnell in 2006 and was the first artisan creamery on the Olympic Peninsula.
Its celebration plans include launch of a limited-release celebration cheese at the Port Townsend Artisan Food Festival on May 28.
It plans to build a 12,500-square-foot facility in 2017.

SEQUIM — Glamorous Salon, 375 W. Bell St., has added spa pedicures and shellac manicures, half nail polish and half gel hybrid manicure to its current services.
The salon is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
It is owned by Sarah Cary Krieger.
