Volunteer coordinator

PORT ANGELES — Healthy Families of Clallam County, a private nonprofit organization serving eastern and central Clallam County, has acquired the services of a volunteer coordinator.

This position, funded by a grant, has been filled by Pamela Wise of Port Angeles.

Wise has a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and 25 years of administrative background in the medical field.

Service specialist

SEQUIM — Ferrellgas has hired Christine Paulsen as the customer service specialist for the Sequim office, located at 646 S. Third Ave.

Paulsen is in the office Mondays-Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accept payments, answer billing questions, sign up new customers, place orders and answer phone calls.

KONP talk guests

PORT ANGELES — Here is this week’s schedule for the 1:05 p.m. to 2 p.m. local talk show segment on KONP radio, at 1450 AM, 101.7 FM and www.konp.com on the Internet outside the Port Angeles area.

Station General Manager Todd Ortloff hosts the Monday through Thursday segments.

This week’s scheduled lineup:

■ Monday: Clallam County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Nichols discusses appointment to the Forensics Investigations Council, the Paul Coverdell Grant, the five W’s of diversion programs and Cascadia Subduction Zone emergency planning.

■ Tuesday: Tim Bruce, human services planner of developmental disabilities at the Clallam County Department of Health and Human Services, on the upcoming Clallam County hiring event and Developmental Disabilities Month.

Second segment: Cynthia Warne, manager of the Port Angeles Farmers Market, discusses the upcoming basement sale fundraiser.

■ Wednesday: U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer.

■ Thursday: Pre-empted by Seattle Mariners spring training game.
