PORT ANGELES — WorkSource Clallam County will host a health care job fair at the WorkSource Clallam County site, 228 W. First St., Suite A, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The event is free and open to the public.
Jobs detailed will include home care aide, nurse assistant registered, certified caregiver, maintenance and housekeeping, med tech, certified nursing assistant and cook.
Employers include Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation, Concerned Citizens, Home Instead, Kitsap Tenant Services, Korean Women’s Association, Laurel Place, Olympic Community Actions Programs, Sherwood Assisted Living and Peninsula College.
Paid training is offered by most organizations, and a hiring bonus is available for some positions.
Attendees are asked to be prepared to complete an application, bring photo ID and their Social Security card, be able to pass a background check. They need to be at least 18 years old.

Second segment: 1975 Roughrider graduate and author Kate Elliott, discusses her book A Camino of the Soul: Learning to Listen When the Universe Whispers.
Third segment: Dennis Tilton and Bruce Reiter discuss the Ham Radio Field Day and ham radio’s role in the Cascadia Rising drill.
■ Wednesday: Mary Marcial, director of the Port Angeles Dance Center, discusses her 25 years teaching dance and the upcoming spring performance.
■ Thursday: Pre-empted by Seattle Mariners game.
